Project 52

Ras Al Khaimah UAE – February 18 2011, Mary Keitany’s 65:50 (1:05:50) women’s half-marathon world record run at the Ras-Al-Khaimah Half Marathon 2011.

As I mention on my last post about Fireworks display, this will be a lot during the celebration of Dubai Shopping Festival.  A time to get out to enjoy the show and snap some to add on my project.  Hope photo hobbyist enjoy their time capturing DSF fireworks display.

Most of the new photo hobbyist including myself thinks need expensive studio lighting equipments to learn how to light their subject. But my thinking  changed when I was in  David Hobby’s (Strobist) workshop,  and that was two years back (2009), to realized that I can use  my little gadget in a bigger point of view.

But didn’t find a time to practice  a single flash photography using my flash gun since then. And also feel lazy for a couple of months now, as to observe that my project 52 looks like abandoned.

Now I think its time for me to wake up and practice all the knowledge I acquired and the equipment I have.  Start in a very small subject , with a tomato that I bought in a supermarket and experiment what will be the outcome using my SB900.

Vacation, Vacation, Vacation… results  Late project, late project, late project… I’m so sorry for myself because these project are 3 weeks behind my schedule, due to this delay I need to work double time to reach my mission to post here at least once a week.  Anyway I enjoy my 2010 vacation, and to be honest this was the most tiring vacation I ever done… Why these vacation was tiring? here’s it is!!!!
